February 3rd, 2026 - Longmont, Colo. - REEB Cycles launched its American made Steel Hardtail 15 years ago and quickly grew a reputation for featuring traits previously seen only on longer travel trail bikes. The original bikes featured aggressive geometry, a proprietary tubeset and singlespeed compatibility featuring Gates carbon belt drive. After a 5 year hiatus, REEB is returning to its roots with the Re:Dikyelous, an updated version of its classic design featuring a curated Anniversary build.
Handcrafted in the Colorado featuring clean modern geometry, US made tubing, proprietary 3D printed chainstay yokes, modular Portage dropout system for old school SS compatibility, the Re:Dikyelous steel frame evokes the big mountain dampening and durability REEB Cycles hardtails have always been known for. The updated geometry revolves around a 130mm fork, 65.5 degree head angle and snappy 420mm to 435mm chainstay length paired with a slightly raised top tube allowing for bigger bottles and frame bags for big backcountry rides or multi day bike packing adventures.
“Our customers have been asking for a hardtail, and we’re excited to have one back in the lineup.” said Jeff Lenosky, REEB Cycles brand Manager. “The last time we built one was before the introduction of the SST and the STEEZL, having those two bikes in the line-up covering Trail and Enduro categories allowed us to make this our most intentionally designed hardtail to date.”
As REEB Cycles celebrates its 15th year, the limited edition Re:Dikyelous is a tribute to their heritage of pushing limits with American made steel bicycles. From simple clean lines and a durable build, it offers a high quality smooth and compliant ride designed to rip aggressive singletrack.

REEB Cycles was founded by Dale Katechis in 2011, who was inspired to build his own bikes after his was stolen, leading him to start a company focused on building bikes in small batches with a high attention to detail. In 2014 REEB set out to revolutionize hardailts for more aggressive trail riding by introducing their proprietary American made ABT tubesets in collaboration with True Temper and Henry James Bicycles. The boundary breaking tubeset included a larger 31.6mm diameter seat tube to accommodate dropper seatposts, 44mm headtube (to accommodate tapered steerer tube forks) paired with an oversized 1.75-inch down tube adding to the frame’s strength to handle the demands of more aggressive riding and the increased leverage of longer-travel forks while providing stable bottom bracket to enhance the bike’s precise handling and stiffness for use of the Gates Carbon Drive system.
