Open May 1: Pizzeria Lola at Indeed Brewing Company

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, April 22, 2025: Indeed Brewing Company has a new food partner. Opening May 1, Ann Kim’s Pizzeria Lola will be crafting wood-fired pies and a full menu of sharables from Indeed’s Beeryard.

Kim is the Twin Cities’ chef and restaurateur behind Pizzeria Lola, Hello Pizza, Sooki & Mimi, and Young Joni. In 2019, she received the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Midwest, becoming the first woman and first person of color from Minneapolis to earn the honor. Her culinary approach blends her Korean heritage with global flavors, creating dishes that reflect her diverse influences. Kim and her innovative approach to pizza have been featured in various media outlets, including Netflix's Chef's Table.

Chris White, the executive chef of Pizzeria Lola and Hello Pizza, will be heading up the effort at Indeed. 

Pizza and Beer: The Perfect Combo 

Pairing award-winning pizza with award-winning beer is sure to make the experience at Indeed a top-notch night out, every day of the week. On the menu, you’ll find several Pizzeria Lola classic pizzas as well as shareables, a fresh salad, and dessert. 

Snag an Old Reliable (Lola’s take on a classic cheese pizza) and a Brightside Sea Salt & Lemon Lager, Indeed’s crispy summer beer. Whatever you order from the truck is sure to be a perfect pairing to your favorite Indeed drink. 

“This partnership has been a long time in the making. We started the conversation pre-pandemic, paused it for a while, and then picked up right where we left off earlier this year. After that it came together quickly, in part because I think it’s such a natural pairing,” said Indeed’s Chief Business Officer Ryan Bandy. “Ann, Chris, and the whole crew are going to bring amazing energy and amazing food to the taproom.”

Enhanced Experience in the Beeryard

The initial menu is compact, yet diverse. The pizzas are 10”, which make them perfect for an individual or a group feast. Ordering food will be a slick process with QR-enabled menus and text confirmations. The bar staff at Indeed will be ready to recommend a great pizza to pair with your drink of choice.
