DENVER (Feb. 12, 2026) – Ratio Beerworks, goes to 11 this year as they celebrate 11 years of making meticulously-crafted beer, supporting the arts and remaining unapologetically independent in Denver.
The brewery enters its 11th year experiencing unprecedented growth, up double-digits at the end of 2025 led by a 25% spike in can sales and enjoying statewide distribution for its dynamic beer lineup. Colorado craft beer lovers are invited to join Ratio for anniversary events, including a live music showcase, exclusive beer releases, comedy and drag shows, food and more at both Denver taprooms in RiNo and Overland throughout the week of Feb. 11-15.
New beer releases headline the week-long celebration. For the first time ever, snag 16oz cans of Domesitica, Ratio’s 4.9% GABF gold medal winning American Golden Ale, and 12oz bottles of Barrel Aged Barleywine Colossus. On Sunday, Feb. 15, Ratio’s Genius Wizard tap takeover will include 7 barrel-aged limited releases, including four variations of the brewery’s fan-favorite Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout Genius Wizard.
Live music on Feb. 14 and 15 includes a lineup of 11 bands covering two stages at Ratio’s two Denver taprooms. Colorado-based groups like Elway, Nightfishing, Summer Stars, Roka Hueka, and more.
Celebrating with live music is a no-brainer, given that Ratio Beerworks’ story began in the late-90s punk scene. Co-founders Jason Zumbrunnen and Scott “Kap” Kaplan cut their teeth by touring, playing out, creating zines and working at labels. The scene’s DIY spirit prepped them for the challenges of creating and sharing their passions on their own terms. Over the years, that energy led them toward homebrewing, then brewing school in Germany and careers in brewing, marketing and finance; and eventually to opening Ratio Beerworks in Denver’s River North neighborhood in 2015.
“Ratio has always been a home for local artists, musicians and creators. The beer is a way to fuel that creative energy in our community,” said Zumbrunnen. “In year 11, we plan on cranking up the volume on our beer lineup, live events and giving back.”
Ratio is known as a hub for Denver’s arts and culture scene, hosting music and art events at its taprooms and donating 3% of its annual beer production to nonprofit organizations across Colorado. Staying true to its roots in the punk music scene, Ratio also partners with independent venues and musicians through its Ratio Sessions series, an intimate concert program that brings touring bands to its two Denver taprooms for live music, meet-and-greets and special beer releases.
When it comes to beer, the lineup is defined by both approachable, refreshing styles and convention-defying brews. Ratio’s flagship Cityscales Mexican-style Lager (4.8% ABV) is a crisp, light, citrusy lager with a clean, slightly dry finish and a refreshing nod to Denver’s urban arts scene; while GABF gold medal-winning King of Carrot Flowers Carrot Elderflower Saison (5.8% ABV) bursts forth in orange hues and subtle fruit-forward citrus notes with nuances of pear, honey, coriander and vanilla. This year, Ratio will elevate two seasonal favorites to year-round distribution status: No Shade Pilsner (5%) and Antidote West Coast IPA (6.7%).
Celebrate 11 years of Denver beer by visiting Ratio’s taprooms in RiNo at 2920 Larimer Street or in Overland at 2030 S. Cherokee Street and looking for Ratio beers in coolers across the state of Colorado.
