Single-serve wine company grows its reach of premium wine made with certified-organic grapes
Denver, July 29, 2021 — It’s been a big year for Wander + Ivy, the female-founded wine company producing premium single-serve wines in patented glass packaging. So far in 2021, the company has recorded over 250 percent growth in revenue year-over-year, tripled states of wholesale distribution, and raised its largest ever 7-figure round of investment.
Wander + Ivy’s limited edition wines are sourced from sustainable, award-winning, family-owned vineyards around the world. Every varietal is made with certified-organic grapes and packaged in an elegant, easy-to-open glass bottle holding 6.3 oz of wine, or one-quarter of a traditional wine bottle. Wander + Ivy can now be found in national retail stores including Whole Foods, Kroger, Safeway, Cost Plus, Walmart, Natural Grocers and more.
“It’s been such an honor expanding this brand across the country,” says Wander + Ivy Founder Dana Spaulding, a level II sommelier. “We plan to continue to scale the business as more and more consumers demand clean, premium single-serve options.”
Named the Official Wine of the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, Wander + Ivy’s unique packaging of premium wines has been a successful fit for events of all sizes, reducing touchpoints between guests without compromising on the elegance of high-quality wine.
Wander + Ivy’s Mixed Varietal Packs are now available at select retail stores nationwide, and their exclusive Special Occasion Gift Boxes, launched in early 2021, are available on Wander + Ivy’s online wine shop. Each of the latest packaging options features a variety of wines packaged in a gorgeous box, allowing customers to enjoy their favorite varietals and discover new varietals at the same time.
With expansion into retail stores in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma, Oregon, Maine, New Hampshire, and Washington, Wander + Ivy is now available in brick and mortar in 12 states. Direct-to-consumer shipments are also available in 38 states and Washington D.C., bringing Wander + Ivy’s national footprint to 38 states and Washington D.C.
One notable takeaway of Wander + Ivy’s growth story is the scale of its charitable contributions. From the beginning, the company has been committed to giving back. In 2020, Wander + Ivy donated 1-percent of its sales to the nonprofit Colorado Feeding Kids, providing a whopping 15,000 meals to hungry children in the company’s home state of Colorado and nationwide.
