Turn It Up hits two years old and we're looking for an organized and creative addition to round out our small team. Description: Creative thinker, passionate communicator. Heavily focused in the beverage, outdoor, and lifestyle markets. This position requires aware, informed, on-brand, creative, and purpose-driven writing for press releases, brand communications and materials, and social media posts. You will be responsible for contributing to a larger media relations strategy and executing direct media contact outreach, pitching and follow up, in addition to contributing to the social media strategy and executing daily posts (ability to acquire and communicate in voice of client’s brand is a must).
Gotta Have: 3 to 5 years marketing experience Copywriting & press release writing chops Media relations / influencer experience Social media savvy + strategy Committed desire to responsibly execute SM posting + interaction Creativity and marketplace awareness Ability to happily multi-task and pivot between brands and voices
Wanna Have: Someone who can nail the ‘Gotta Haves’, has some proven success in the brand building process, and is interested in all of that and seeking mentorship and experience in brand development and real-world go-to-market strategies and launches.
Reports To: We’re a small team of dedicated brand builders. We’ll all be working side by side on a mix of brands but ultimately you’ll report to founder Chad Melis.
