Lyons, Colo., October 30th, 2018 - Turn It Up Media has announced Marily Melis will join husband Chad Melis as co-founder and President of Creative Content, on November 1st, of the newly formed marketing company based in the foothills town of Lyons, CO.
As an engaging and energetic personality Marily has directed and been the spokesperson for over 200 product videos and photoshoots for more than a dozen brands. Over the last 12+ years as the marketing director for brands like Sierra Designs, Kelty, Ultimate Direction, and Slumberjack. She has worked on large professional sets to grassroots backyard locations. Marily has directed everything from brand vibe videos, product videos to backpacking and camping tip tutorials for the Home Shopping Network, Amazon and Walmart, creating authentic and engaging online sales support and driving ROI in the competitive and cluttered modern digital sales environment. She'll be the talent or find it, set location and logistics are her jam, and storyboarding and script writing her talent. Marily works closely with several production crews and provides a one-stop shop for the creative process, executing video or photo content needs on a concise timeline.
After working on the brand side of marketing, Marily saw a need to simplify the video production process. Her approach is to deliver video content in a concise and to-the-point manner. “I have been on the receiving end of pitches for years and want to remove the smoke and mirrors and fancy marketing speak, put simply I produce quality product videos.” Marily reflects on the marketing industry and her philosophy on production.
Combined, Turn It Up Media boasts over 35 years of Marketing experience offering services in Brand Strategy, Media Relations and Content Development. Chad launched Turn It Up Media in July of 2018 after over a decade as the driving marketing force growing Oskar Blues Brewery into an authentic national brand in 50 states. Chad has extensive experience with more than 20 years of marketing success across B2B Marketing, Food & Beverage, CPG, Outdoor and Media Relations industries with extensive experience launching new markets, developing national and international brands, communications and as a founding board member of Can’d Aid Foundation, a national 501(c)3 non-profit, When the CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective was formed in 2015, Chad acted as Marketing Director – a role in which he managed PR and Communications for all 7 breweries and 17 locations.
