Don Carlos’ Humboldt County-based facility equipped with GrowRay supplemental lighting fixtures
Eureka, Calif., April 2021 — GrowRay Technologies, a cannabis technology company owned and operated by licensed cultivators, announces its collaboration with legendary Jamaican singer and composer Don Carlos. Don Carlos, who is also an industry leading grower, has equipped GrowRay’s cannabis-specific lighting technology in his state-of-the-art light deprivation greenhouse facility in Humboldt County, Calif.
GrowRay’s signature industrial-grade LED lighting system is designed specifically for cannabis by a PhD-driven team of biophysicists, lighting engineers, and photo-biologists. The lights provide substantial cost savings and significantly increase crop yields.
“The reason that we chose to partner with GrowRay is because they are the only ones with the technology and the fixtures designed for the completely sealed greenhouse environment we have, and they work with the natural sunlight we have in Northern California,” says Don Carlos. “With GrowRay's help, we finished setting up this greenhouse exactly how we wanted.”
